Firstly what I forgot about Dalkey. I didn't mention the lovely church. Lovely outside and lovely inside. It reminded me of St. John's in Sligo. Both churches make you feel welcome and at home.

Ok, Bray now.
The venue was about half sold. I found out that it wasn't selling well when I picked up my ticket. I tried to do some PR, but unfortunately I didn't see 'new familiar' faces that night.
Of course there were real familiar faces: Maeve, Beate and Moni. And Robbie Overson! Maybe not familiar to all of us, but he played the guitar at the Dutch Tour in 2008. Very nice to see him again.

Do I need to tell how great the guys are? How good the concert was? We all know, don't we.
Which songs I love most? I think I already expressed my feelings about the songs (more than once), so I'm not going to do that again.

As usual I grabbed the song list. Easy job this time as the stage was very low. A lady saw me doing it and she said: 'There is another one over there'. She was right, but you'll understand that it was the same.

I'll tell me ma
You raise me up
Bheir me Ó
Funiculi Funicula
The holy city
Brown eyed girl (Solo Daryl)
Feels like home (NEW)
Hard times
down Sally
Remember me

You ain't going nowhere
Come what may (Solo James)
The mad lady and me
The contender
The star of County Down
Dutchman (BRAND NEW)
Danny boy
Whiskey in the jar
Nessun dorma

Time to say goodbye

Several favourites of mine on the list!

Funny to realize that I heard 'You raise me up' and 'Granada' solo by James just a few days earlier.

Two new songs. Both in the style I love.
' Feels like home'. Beautiful song. And as usual more special by the way the guys sing it.
The other new one was BRAND new. To be precise, this was the first time the guys sang it on stage! 'The Dutchman' is a song with lovely lyrics. Maybe you know it.
The refrain is:
Let us go to the banks of the ocean
Where the walls rise above the Zuiderzee
Long ago, I used to be a young man
And dear Margaret remembers that for me

I heard it by other performers before, but this song by our Tenors is unique.

Another memorable night. Thanks to our four guys.
