2007-07-02 a message from Daryl

Hi to all,
Many many thanks for all your messages of birthday wishes.

Not only was it my birthday yesterday, but also my first year birthday as a Celtic Tenor has just recently passed. What a year it has been as well. I think it only fair to acknowledge the tremendous work of everyone involved with the Celtic Tenors. We are possibly one of the busiest groups in the business, with what can only be descirbed as a whirlwind touring schedule. I have learned many things this past 12 months and can only find myself very fortunate to be in this position. Niall's recent announcement of bowing out of the Celtic Tenors was a decision which can not have been easy for him. Obviously this has provided me with the opportunity for continuing my work in the group, so am grateful for this. I wish him well in his future endeavours and am sure he will continue to have success at the very highest levels.

As a new chapter in the Celtic Tenors begins, I look forward to the new and exciting times ahead. We feel collectively that we will be able to build upon the international success that has already been obtained. We will continue to strive to reach the very highest performance standards and will hope to record some new material in the not too distant future.

I thank you all for your continued support and hope that we will get a chance to perform at venues near you in the next year.

I send my best wishes and love to you all,
