I think the the guys had a tough time with this show. Their performance was fantastic but the audience was very quiet. The crowd was very elderly and they did not participate with the fellas. No matter how hard they tried to get the audience to clap along, it just wasn't meant to be. I spoke with many of the people there and they all said the same thing. They all thought the show was fantastic. Everyone I talked to said the guys were amazing! When I spoke with James after the show, he mentioned that it was a "Tough Crowd" but I told him what everyone was saying about the show. The theatre was nice and the sound was very good, but the old folks were just not up to the task. The Tenors received a very nice ovation at the end of the show, but the rest of the time the audience was subdued. It has to be tough on the performers when they don't get good feedback during their performance, but like the troopers they are, they still put on a very professional performance. Deirdre was as fabulous as ever, and she was very well received. Everyone loves Deirdre! There was a nice little reception after the show for everyone.

The venue restricted some of the reportoire so the songlist was altered to accomodate everyone. The guys added a few more songs from their opera background, and I think that was very well received.

To Matthew, James, Daryl, Deirdre, David, Dale, and Joyce, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for everything you all did to make this day so enjoyable for Mom and myself. Mom is still talking about how wonderful you all are!
