2007-02-24 Waalwijk

reviewed by Gabi and Klaus

We're just back from our Waalwijk/Holland- weekend trip. I'm not very good in writing reviews, but I'll try to give a little impression of that wonderful
evening.

The songlist was:

Anthem
You raise me up (Daryl, it's your song!)
Irish Rover
An poc ar buile
An Cailin Rua
Barcarolle
Song for Ireland (Deidre,I had tears in my eyes...beautifully performed!!)
The Prayer (still no chance to get my wet eyes dried ;-)) )
Granada
Angel of mercy (deeply moving song, sensitive performance)
All out of love tell me Ma
Shenandoah
Caledonia ( many thanks for dedicating this song for us five )
Star/Spanish/ Whiskey
Nessun Dorma ( the audience was a great choir!!!)
I don't wanna talk about it (Deidre it was great, and Martin's background vocals too)
Still by your side
I know I'll never love (this song is absolutely fabulous, please never remove it from your songlist...)
Paddy McGinty ( I LOVE this performance, you are the best tenors and
of course the best actors,too....mähhhhh)
Remember me
Time to say goodbye (oh no...)

Encore: Ireland's call.

I didn't comment every single song here, but I can say from the bottom
of my heart: I love each and everyone!!!!

The whole concert was fantastic, the mood in the theatre really good and the audience was delighted.

After the show there was a looong queue waiting to talk to the boys
and Deidre and to get autographs and photos. After that we had our meet
and greet. David and Martin were in the foyer too and I had the chance to talk
to Martin too. He's a very friendly person and it's been a pleasure to
meet him.

We'll keep a lot of lovely memories of our two Holland concert trips in our hearts.

Love to the Tenors,David and Deidre,Martin and everyone here. Great to hear that all the others who attended a Dutch concert had a wonderful time too.
